UBO firma importantes convenios para fortalecer y desarrollar la investigación
La Universidad Bernardo O’Higgins a través de su Vicerrectoría de Vinculación con el Medio e Investigación oficializó la firma de dos convenios con S2T y DTS, empresas ligadas a entregar servicios y soluciones asociadas al área de tecnología de la información.
En el acuerdo con DTS estuvieron presentes desde la UBO el rector Claudio Ruff, y el vicerrector de Vinculación con el Medio e Investigación, Jorge Van de Wyngard; quienes fueron acompañados por Patricio Carrasco, jefe Departamento de Investigación, Desarrollo, Innovación e Industria de la Subsecretaría de Defensa, el gerente general Eduardo Aedo y otras autoridades de la entidad.
El vicerrector Van de Wyngard, quien representó al rector Ruff en la firma con la empresa S2T, afirmó que “Lo que más nos motiva es ver cómo nuestras capacidades investigativas pueden colaborar en la solución de problemas o desafíos que tenga la empresa”.
Por su parte el gerente general de S2T, Sergio Álvarez Gambero, agradeció la oportunidad de la firma, pues “es muy importante, ya que, desde lugares distintos, apuntamos al desarrollo, la investigación y el crecimiento de nuestra nación”.
Ambas firmas, contaron con representantes de la Facultad de Ingeniería, Ciencia y Tecnología quienes recorrieron junto a las autoridades los distintos laboratorios que posee actualmente la universidad.
